Vidarbha complete last rites by seven wickets

Nairobi:Hosts Vidarbha defeated Rajasthan by seven wickets to pocket full four points on the third-day of the Plate B Ranji Trophy cricket match at the VCA Stadium on Thursday.

Needing 96 runs for a win, Vidarbha reached the target 16 minutes before lunch, losing only three wickets in the process.

Alind Naidu remained not out on 33 while Amit Deshpande made 34. Off spinner Rahul Kawat claimed 2 wickets for 17 runs.

Vidarbha, who dominated the match right from the word go, had taken crucial 56-run first innings lead and bundled out Rajasthan for a paltry 151 in their second innings.
