Kolkata:Star off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, whose Test best figures of 7-87 helped India script a eight- wicket series-clinching win over South Africa at the Eden Gardens on Thursday, has been reported for illegal bowling action by former New Zealand batsman and ICC match referee Jeff Crowe.

A cricket website reported that the in-form offie was reported for suspect action as the ICC match referee was convinced that the 'doosra' the sardar bowls is not a legal delivery.

The ICC match referee will bring this to the attention of the ICC's concerned authorities, reported the cricket website.

This is the not the first time that Harbhajan was being reported for suspect action. In 1998 Harbhajan was reported for chucking and was sent to England to work with Fred Titmus to undertake corrective measures to rectify his action.
