Bangalore:Vice-Captain Rahul Dravid has declined to comment on the controversial ommission of V V SLaxman and Anil Kumble for the coming three-match one-day series against Bangladesh.

"No comments..no comments. I have come here for a totally different purpose...no comments", Dravid responded to reporters' query today on the sidelines of a function here as he walked off.

Dravid, who is a brand ambassador for promoting Karnataka tourism, earlier inaugurated the nuclear therapy unit at Manipal Hospital here.

The selectors had indicated that Laxman and Kumble had been "rested" but the stylish Hyderabad batsman and the ace leg spinner have made no secret of their displeasure over the non-inclusion in the team.

While an anguished Laxman has reportedly said he did not seek any rest and was hurt with the treatment meted out to him, Kumble has also made his mind known saying he does notwant to sit and watch when he himself should be playing.
