The former Kiwi off-spinner said that his team had been working hard and and there was no need to press the panic button over the team's 2-0 Test series defeat to Australia.
"This team is extremely hard-working and has shown a lot of character on this tour."
Reacting to criticism that his team lacked commitment, Bracewell gave the example of Chris Harris, who batted in Sydney last week with a dislocated shoulder to buttress his point.
"If at all anyone doubts their commitment they just need to remember what Chris Harris did and the guts he showed, which epitomizes this team for me," he said.
John Bracewell, who is 18 months older than Brendon, initially refused to comment on his brother's accusations.
