Indore:Railways gained two points on the basis of first innings lead as their four-day Ranji Trophy match against hosts Madhya Pradesh ended in a draw at the Usharaje cricket stadium here today.

Resuming at their overnight score of 174 for three, MP batsmen were trapped one after another by offie Kulamani Parida, who claimed eight wickets, as the home team was bundled out for 303.

Only seasoned Devendra Bundela managed to resist Parida's spin as he scored 98 runs which included nine boundaries.

Chasing a target of 138 runs for an outright win, Railways were able to score 82 for the loss of four wickets when the stumps were drawn.

Raja Ali remained not out on 34 while Siddharth Verma was batting on seven runs.
