Upbeat Indian eves meet Aussies in 4th ODI

Vapi:After an emphatic six wicket win in Mumbai on Thursday, a confident Indian women cricketers will take on the world champions Australia in the fourth One-Day International here tomorrow.

After losing the first two one-dayers at Mysore (by 14 runs) and Mandya (by three wickets) in Karnataka, the Indians came back strongly to beat the Aussies at the Mumbai Police Grounds in the seven-match series.

There was a marked improvement in Indian team's batting and bowling though their fielding standards has to rise drastically if they want to square the series here.

The teams from (India): Mamatha Maben (capt), Mithali Raj (vice-capt), Anuj Jain, Anjum Chopra, Jaya Sharma, Hemalata Kala, Jhulan Goswami, Amita Sharma, Arundhati Kirkire, Varsha Raffel, Deepa Kulkarni, Neetu David, Nooshin Al Khadeer and Monica Sumra.
