Karachi:Outspoken former Pakistan coach Javed Miandad who was given the chop in June this year and replaced by former South African coach Bob Woolmer has threatened to sue Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shahryar Khan.

The PCB chief told reporters that it wasn't just Pakistan's defeat to India in the test and one day series in March and April that was the reason for Miandad's sacking as coach, but there were apparently some others reasons too for dismissing the former Pakistan Captain.

Miandad said that the statements made by the PCB chief have lowered his position as a former captain and coach in the eyes of the cricketing world.

Miandad also said that if need be he would seek a personal appointment with Pakistan's President General Pervez Musharraf to brief him of all that is wrong in Pakistan cricket.
