Bangalore:Rahul Dravid will play for Karnataka in their final Ranji Trophy Elite Group A match against Railways at the IAF ground here from tomorrow.

"Yes, he is playing," confirmed Karnataka's Manager R Sudhakar Rao.

Dravid cannot change the destiny of Karnataka this season as the five-time former champions have failed to qualify for the semi-finals.

Last week-end, Karnataka suffered a humiliating 205-run defeat at the hands of Mumbai. The hosts have a tally of six points.

On the other hand, Sanjay Bangar-led Railways are also playing only for pride as the team is also out of the reckoning for a semi-final berth, having tallied only eight points so far.

But the visitors are high on morale, after scripting a resounding 133 run victory over Andhra in their last encounter at Ananthapur.

The teams:

Karnataka: Sujith Somasundar (Captain), Barrington Rowland, Robin Uthappa, V S Thilak Naidu (wicketkeeper), Sudhindra P Shinde, Deepak A Chougule, Rahul Dravid, Sunil B Joshi, D Ganesh, R Vinay Kumar, N C Aiyappa, Udit B Patel, C Raghu, Stuart T Binny and C Raghavendra.

Railways: Sanjay Bangar (Captain), Amit Pagnis, T P Singh, Siddarth Varma, J P Yadav, Raja Ali, Siddarth Joshi, Yere Goud K, Harvinder Singh, Parida K, Madan Yadav, Shankar Rao, Shreyas Kanolkar, Sudir Wankhede and Santosh Saxena.
