New Delhi:In a unique face-off, Delhi veterans would take on British Parliamentarians in a One-day cricket match to be held in the capital on Tuesday.

The friendly match, organised by World Cricket Academy and Veterans Cricket Association (VCA) of Delhi, will see a VCA team, comprising a few former India players, play against a team of 'House of Commons and Lords, UK' at Jamia Milia Islamia ground in New Delhi.

Former Test players Chetan Chauhan and Yashpal Sharma have confirmed their participation in Tuesday's tie, a VCA press release said here on Monday.

The British team, which has a number of present and former Members of Parliament besides some former cricketers, is also slated to play a couple of matches in Mumbai.

Arun Jaitley, president of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), would inaugurate the match while state Chief Minister Sheila Dixit would be present for the award distribution function later in the day, the release said.
