Electing to bat first, UP scored 255 all out in 48.1 overs before restricting Rajasthan to 194 all out in 49.1 overs with the help of some good bowling from Jyoti Yadav and Praveen Gupta who claimed three wickets each.
For UP, opener Rohit Prakash (37 4x4) and skipper Mohammad Kaif (32 4x2) added 53 runs for the second wicket while Suresh Raina (89 not out, 5X4, 2X6) added 58 runs with Praveen Gupta (21) for the eighth wicket.
Rajasthan began its innings on a confident note with openers Rohit Sharma (29 4x4,6x1) and Kaushal Devra (14) adding 31 runs for the first wicket.
Later, Nikhil Doru (31 4x3) and Rohit Jhalani (50 4x6 6x1) added 59 runs for the third wicket partnership to give some hope to their team to rein in Uttar Pradesh.
However, other batsman succumbed to the bowling of Yadav, Gupta, R P Singh and Praveen Kumar and the entire team was all out at 194 in 49.1 overs giving UP a bonus point.
UP bagged five points from the tie, while RCA had to be content with just one.
