"Pakistan will have the upper hand and the pressure will be on us because we have have lost a few times to them in recent encounters," Sehwag told reporters on the sidelines of the inaugration of an eye care clinic here.
"When we were there (in Pakistan), the pressure was on them."
The flamboyant opener, however, said he was confident about the home team not allowing the pressure to get to it and dish out an excellent performance.
The Deodhar Trophy starting next week would also provide an opportunity to the players to hone their skills before the neighbours arrive, Sehwag said.
"We will get good practice before the Pakistan series and it will also give an opportunity to the youngsters," he said.
On the tsunami relief match to be played between Rest of World and India XI in Kolkata on February 13, he said he hoped it would raise more money than the one played in Melbourne.
