Nair said that Tendulkar, who has been advised rest for six weeks to allow his left arm affected by tennis elbow recover, had time till the third week of February, when the Indian team will be picked for the series.
"Tendulkar has got enough time to produce the fitness certificate before the (team) selection," the BCCI Secretary told PTI here.
Pakistan are scheduled to arrive on February 25 and would play three Tests and five one-day internationals.
BCCI would soon discuss the appointment of a new physio for the Indian team in place of Andrew Leipus, he said.
The Annual General Meeting of the BCCI would be held on January 27 at Kolkata and take up the inconclusive agenda of the last AGM of BCCI held on September 29 last year.
The Supreme Court had directed the BCCI to convene the adjourned AGM so as to enable the new members of the Board to take charge of the BCCI affairs.
