Mumbai:India's middle order batsman V V S Laxman is sure that the Pakistanis will come out with their guns blazing during the home series next month but warned that the Indians were ready for them.

"The Pakistanis may not be playing very well in Australia right now but I am sure that they will come hard at us but we are ready for them", the stylish Hyderabad batsman, who is leading the South Zone squad in the Deodhar Trophy one-day cricket match against West Zone to be played tomorrow, told reporters after the nets here today.

"We beat them last time around and everyone who follows cricket knows that it will be a thrilling series whenever we play them. It has been seven years since they toured India and they will come fully prepared to avenge the defeat", he added.

When asked whom he considers the most dangerous bowler among the Pakistanis, Laxman said "according to me leg spinner Danish Kanaria is the most dangerous bowler in their camp".

"Everybody thinks that Shoaib Akthar is the most dangerous bowler because he is really fast but I feel Danish Kanaria could be more dangerous as he can really turn the ball quite sharply and is bowling very well against the Australians," he added.

When asked about his chances of making a comeback in the one-day squad, Laxman said "I think I have spoken enough on that topic and right now my focus is to see that I guide South Zone to victory in the Deodhar Trophy".
