Former bowlers Ravi Shastri, L Sivaramakrishnan and Javagal Srinath were also expected to be on the experts' panel as the Cricket Board was awaiting their acceptance of the assignment, BCCI secretary SK Nair said in Thiruvanathapuram.
Elliot from the School of Human Movement and Exercise from the University of Weeter, Australia, has accepted the assignment, Nair confirmed.
Harbhajan was reported for the suspect bowling action for the second time in his career during the second Test against Bangladesh at Chittagong on December 20.
International Cricket Council had given Harbhajan time till February 18 for working on correction of his suspect action with an experts' panel.
The course for correction is expected to be carried out in Australia. Meanwhile, BCCI has requested ICC that it should be conducted in India, Nair said.
