India Under-19 steamroll England in Kolkata Test

Kolkata:India U-19 lads chalked out its second victory in the four Test series against the English colts walloping them by an innings and 106 runs on the fourth day today at the Eden Gardens here.

Resuming at the overnight score of 140 for six, England needed Moen Ali to carry on in the same vein but he fell early, being snapped up by leg-spinner Piyush Chawla for 41. Chawla, who struck a purple patch from the start of the series, had double delight little later when he accounted for D A Griffiths.

Local boy Manoj Tiwari who went wicketless yesterday bagged the other two wickets.

English Colts had scored 147 in their first innings and 157 in their second in reply to Indias 410 for eight declared in their first innings.
