Aftab Ahmed, Manzarul Rana top ODI series averages

Dhaka:Young batsman Aftab Ahmed, topped the Bangladesh batting averages in the just-concluded One-day series against Zimbabwe. The Chittagong right-hander amassed 179 runs at an average of 44.75.

Zimbabwean opener Barney Rogers, who also had a superb run and was adjudged man-of-the-series, scored more runs (251) than Aftab, finishing with at an average of 50.20.

Bangladesh left-arm spinner Manzarul Islam Rana, bagged the highest number of wickets with nine scalps from three games. But his senior spin partner Mohammad Rafique, however, finished with the best average.
