Ahmedabad:Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) tonight said that it is yet to receive any official intimation from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over its "inability" to play at Ahmedabad, one of the proposed venues to host test match between India and Pakistan next month.

"We came to know about Pakistan's reluctance to play in Ahmedabad only through media. We will be in a position to react better once we get official intimation in this regard", GCA spokesman, Hitesh P Pochi told PTI here.

Earlier in the day, PCB, in a letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), said that it had reservations over playing at Ahmedabad.

PCB's letter to the Indian Cricket Board came a day after the two-member Pakistani security assessment team, comprising PCB official Zakir Khan and senior Pakistan police official Sohail Khan, which toured India last week for an on-the-spot inspection of cricket venues, submitted its report.
