New Delhi:Accusing Islamabad of playing "political games", BJP today said, if Pakistan did not want to play in Ahmedabad then it should play nowhere in the country.

Reacting strongly to Pakistan Cricket Board's decision of not playing in Ahmedabad, BJP Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the government should make it clear to Pakistan that the venues for matches were a prerogative of the host country. "Pakistan is playing political games and is not showing the sportsman spirit," Naqvi told PTI tonight.

"Pakistan's objection to play in Ahmedabad shows that they are not interested in playing cricket but the games of terrorism," he alleged.

"If they do not want Ahmedabad as a venue they should play nowhere in the country," he said.

Pointing out that India had played in one of the most insecure places, Karachi, Naqvi said there is no reason why Pakistan should not play in Ahmedabad.
