After a powerful century by Yuvraj Singh had seen the Seniors post a challenging 280 for nine, India 'A' seemed to limp despite a goot start as they were placed at 204 for four in the 41st over.
But Dravid (45 no) and Kaif (49 no) provided the momentum with brilliant pyrotechniques as India 'A' added 78 runs in the last 10 overs -- and 47 off the last five -- to overhaul the target with two balls to spare.
The winning stroke came from Indian vice-captain Dravid who tonked Gagandeep Singh for a six over the bowler's head.
If Dravid's 44-ball knock contained three fours and a six, Kaif was even better as he faced 32 ball and struck five fours and a six in his unbeaten innings.
Dhiraj Jadhav (79) and Satyajit Parab (36) provided the 'A' team a solid start adding 70 runs for the opening stand before the former consolidated the position with a 99-run partnership with Dinesh Mongia (51).
But the team still needed the unbroken fifth wicket partnership between Dravid and Kaif that fetched 82 runs off 92 balls to see them home.
