Mumbai:John Gloster, who the Indian cricket board had said would take over from Andrew Leipus as team physio, today said he was yet to accept the offer and was awaiting clarifications on certain terms of the contract.

"I do not know the period of the contract. I have to discuss it with board officials," said Gloster while confirming that he did receive a written offer from the BCCI.

Gloster, who worked with the Bangladesh national team over the last four years and was instrumental alongwith coach Dave Whatmore in putting in place a system for them, arrived here on the opening day of the Challenger Series.

The news of Gloster's taking over from Leipus came from the outgoing physio himself before BCCI Secretary S K Nair said in Thiruvananthapuram a few days ago that an offer had been sent to the new physio.

There has been no statement from the board on the issue thereafter.

Leipus quit as physio of the national squad afer the Bangladesh tour as he wanted to pursue his studies further on the subject in Australia.
