New Delhi:With the Ahmedabad issue being resolved, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce the itinerary for the Pakistan tour in the next 2-3 days, a top BCCI official said in New Delhi on Saturday.

"We are in the process of finalising the itinerary and the necessary logistics for the tour. We would be able to finalise everything in two or three days," BCCI secretary S K Nair said over phone from Thiruvananthapuram.

"There are a lot of things that need to be worked out. We are also chalking out the travel programme for the Pakistan team," he said.

Nair said once the final itinerary was ready, it would be sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for their approval.

Pakistan are scheduled to play three Tests and six One-dayers during their first full-fledged tour of India in six years.

The start of the tour was likely to be delayed by a week as both the Boards took some time to resolve the issue of Ahmedabad after PCB expressed reservations over playing a Test match in the Gujarat city citing security concerns.

The stalemate was sorted out on Friday after PCB agreed to a fresh BCCI proposal to play an additional One-dayer in Ahmedabad instead of a Test match which has now been allotted to Kolkata.
