Indo-Pak veterans tsunami tie tomorrow

Patna:At a time when the India and Pakistan are battling it out in India, the veteran cricketers from the two nations would flex their muscles in a match to raise funds for the tsunami victims and combating polio at the Moin Ul Haque stadium here on Wednesday.

The tie is being organized by 'Freedom', a charitable trust.

Tickets are available at rates ranging from Rs 75 (students) to Rs 100-600 for the match to be played at the stadium. The match will be beamed live on DD Sports.

Indian squad: Kapil Dev (captain), Madan Lal, Dileep Vengsarkar, Ajay Jadeja, S.Das, Narendra Hirwani, Praveen Amre, Sanjeev Sharma, Samir Dighe, Gurusharan Singh, Rajesh Chouhan, Atul Wasan, Rishikesh Kanitkar and Devashish Mohanty.

Pakistani squad: Abdul Quadir (captain), Ejaz Ahmed, Sayeed Anwar, Mushtaque Ahmed, Asif Mohammed, Shohaib Mohammed, Ata-ur-Rehman, Jiya Ali, Quadir Salman, Mohammed Tanvir, Kabir Khan, Anis Sidiqqui, Tahir Rashid, Naved Elahi, Nadeem Ajam, Hymau Farhat and Naved Anjum.
