London:The England cricket board has paid Zimbabwe 250,000 as compensation for the cancellation of the two Test matches postponed last year. The Test series was put off after ICC stripped Zimbabwe's Test status, which has since been returned.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Zimbabwe Cricket also arrived an amicable decision on the cancelled fifth ODI from the same tour. England are next scheduled to tour Zimbabwe in 2009.
