Kiwi eves batswoman Drumm out of World Cup

Pretoria:New Zealand eves suffered a setback when batswoman Emily Drumm was forced out of the remainder of the women's World Cup with a hamstring injury. Drumm sustained the injury during their match against Australia on Thursday, which they lost by 32 runs leaving them sixth in the points table.

She will be supplanted by Aimee Mason. Mason is expected to arrive in South Africa on Sunday and should be available for the fourth round match against Ireland on Monday.

New Zealand play Sri Lanka in the third round at Harlequins CC on Saturday.
