Chasing Pakistan's 251 in 45 overs, India rode on Virender's 106 not out to achieve their first victory on the tour off the final ball of the match yesterday.
India had required seven off the last over but the task was made easy by the centurion who scored a boundary off the first ball. Virender was later declared the man of the match.
Pakistan have already sealed the series by winning matches at Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar. The final match of the series will be played at Rawalpindi tomorrow.
Virender faced 98 balls and his innings was laced with 11 boundaries and a six. He featured in a 111-run third wicket stand with Inderjeet Yadav who scored a 89-ball 81 with 12 hits to the fence.
Earlier, Pakistan's 251 revolved around Nabeel Anjum's unbeaten 77 that included five fours and a six from 83 balls. For India, S Kumar bowled well and picked up four wickets for 24 runs while Fahimuddin took three wickets for 44 runs.
