Logie takes over as Bermuda coach

Port Of Spain :Former West Indies coach and stylish middle-order batsman Gus Logie has taken over as coach of the Bermuda national side.

The 44-year-old cricketer, considered as one of the best fielders in his time kickstarted a ten-day camp here in preparation for the International Cricket Council's World Cup qualifying tournament slated to be held n Ireland later this year.

It's worth recalling that Trinidad-born Logie ended his tenure as West Indies coach in October after spearheading the side to Champions Trophy glory in England.

Logie had featured in 52 Tests for West Indies before calling it a day in 1991.
