Karachi:Test discard and former Pakistan captain Moin Khan continued his rich vein of form smashing his second century in the ongoing Patron's Cup One-day tournament as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) stormed into the semi-final with a comprehensive victory over ZTBL at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here.

The 33-year-old wicket-keeper who dropped from the national side on account of poor form, severed a notice to the selectors ahead of the West Indies tour, tonking the ZTBL bowlers to clobber a blistering 101 off only 79 balls to set up the win.

Moin, who made a spellbinding 109 off only 71 balls against Allied Bank in the first round tie, lashed six boundaries and four sixes to propel PIA to an imposing 294 in 49.5 overs.

Chasing 295 for victory, ZTBL were never in the hunt as they slipped to 81 for six against some disciplined bowling from PIA and eventually folded up for 159 off 36.4 overs.

PIA have now logged 16 points and will meet KPT in the final preliminary round match.
