Islamabad:The Pakistan government is hosting a reception on Sunday to honour the Pakistan cricket team for its stupendous performance in winning the recent six-match ODI series against India as well as sharing the three Test series .

A fleet of Pajero vehicles, has been arranged for each member of the team, which would ferry the players from Blue Area to the square in front of the Parliament House on Sunday.

Prime Minister Shaukat Azize will host a dinner in honour of the team.

It's worth recalling that President Gen Pervez Musharraf has also announced cash awards for skipper Inzamamul Haq and Shahid Afridi and more such announcements are expected on Sunday when the players meet the Prime Minister.

The triumphant men in green will be escorted by police on motorbikes. There will also be folk dances and a string of other events to lend colour to the occasion.
