Younis was quoted as saying in a Pakistan daily -The News International that Shoaib was very much part of the senior team and added that his inclusion would boost the side in the Carribean.
"I was surprised to read stories that some senior players don't want Shoaib back in the team. I am the vice captain and I don't know about any such feeling in the team about Shoaib," The News International quoted.
Younis, who had a stupendous tour of India, scoring two massive hundreds in the Test series was of the opinion that if at all there was a problem, it could be sorted out through proper discussions.
"If there is a problem with Shoaib I think we need to sort it out and make him realize that he has to show total commitment to the team and pay a lot of attention to his fitness and performances. But there is no doubt in my mind that his inclusion will strengthen the bowling attack," he added.
Shoaib who is the leading wicketaker for Pakistan among the present lot of bowlers with 144 test and 186 one-day wickets was forced to skip the Indian tour due to a hamstring injury.
