Islamabad:Contrary to reports that the national selection committee headed by former glovemam Wasim Bari would be eased out, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ad hoc committee and its chairman Shaharyar Khan have given their vote of confidence saying that the committee was doing a good job.

The PCB chief was quoted as saying in a Pakistani daily- The News that the reports about the selection committee being replaced were false and untrue.

"There is no truth in rumours that the PCB is considering changes in the selection committee. The selectors headed by Wasim Bari are doing a good job and would continue to work on the same position," Shaharyar said.

The PCB chief showered praise on the selectors saying that they were also played a part in the team's success in India.
