Mahendra included as respondent in contempt case

Chennai:Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Ranbir Singh Mahendra was today (April 26, 2005) included as a respondent in a contempt of court application filed by a local cricket club against Board secretary S K Nair and former Board president Jagmohan Dalmiya, after the latter attended a meeting of the (International Cricket Council (ICC) in Delhi in March last.

Allowing the application filed by Thyagaraya Cricket Club seeking to implead Mahendra as a respondent, Judge Mohideen Pitchai posted the case for hearing on April 27.
