Abu Dhabi:Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 76 runs in the second match of the Zayed Cup tri-series for tsunami relief in Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan who were well served by excellent half-centuries from Younis Khan (71 not out) and Shoaib Malik (68) scored 290 for nine in the allotted overs.

In reply, the Lankans, who beat India comfortably in the opening match could muster just 214 before being bundled out in the 46th over.

For the Lankans, only Mahela Jayawardene (69) and Gayan Wijekoon (58), offered some semblance of resistance as Rao Ifthikar Anjum sliced through their top order with three wickets.

Rao got rid of both openers, Michael Vandort (10) and Marvan Atapattu (5), and picked up Kumar Sangakkara cheaply to end with figures of 3 for 40 as Sri Lanka lost their way to before surrendering meekly.
