Sachin, Lara to figure in tsunami tie on June 14

London:Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and champion West Indies batsman Brian Lara would lead the MCC and World XI sides in a fifty over game at the historic Lord's on June 14.

The match is being staged to raise funds for the victims of the tsunami disaster which struck a dozen countries in Asia and Africa killing over 173,000 people and leaving another 50,000 missing.

Tendulkar and Lara are among a galaxy of cricket stars who would feature in the charity match.

Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhar, star leg-spinner Shane Warne, top-notch batsman Rahul Dravid, Kiwi skipper Stephen Fleming are some other names that would lend colour and excitement to the match.
