Bangladesh colts lose opener on Lanka tour

Colombo:Bangladesh Under-15 cricket team went down to hosts Sri Lanka by two wickets in the first game of the tri-nation limited-over series wickets at the Ranasinghe Premadasa Stadium here.

The visitors batted first and managed only 135. Set a target of 136 for victory, the Lankan cubs were tottering at 55-5 when rain halted play.

The home side were set a revised target of 124, which they overhauled losing three more wickets.

Bangladesh will take on Malaysia in their second game at the same venue.
