Lahore:The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to skirt holding matches during the upcoming England's tour of Pakistan in Peshawar and Quetta, as they are close to the Afghan border.

England are slated to tour Pakistan to play three Tests, five One-day internationals besides two three-day tour matches.

The PCB has tentatively thought of holding the Tests at Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad. The ODIs are likely to be staged in Karachi and Lahore with the latter expected to organize two games.

It's worth recalling that Peshawar has not hosted visiting teams since the September 11 terror attack while Quetta, on the other hand recently completed a cricket stadium but has witnessed a increased violence in recent months.
