Zimbabwe ~~A~~ meet Pakistan ~~A~~ in tour opener

Harare:Zimbabwe's domestic first-class cricket competition- the Logan Cup may have got over, but there is some international action for cricket buffs here as Zimbabwe 'A' take on Pakistan 'A' in the first of the two four-day games at the CFX Academy.

Former Zimbabwe skipper Stuart Carlisle who was among the several players to have returned to the national fold after raising the banner of revolt against the Zimbabwe cricket board, will lead the team for the entire series which also comprises three limited overs matches.

Zimbabwe 'A' are currently high on confidence having upstaged Bangladesh 'A' on home turf in February-March.

Pakistan's 20-member team is being captained by Haq Ul Misbah.
