New Delhi:Zimbabwe have proposed two Tests besides a triangular one-day series for India on their scheduled visit to the African country later this year.

As per the suggested itinerary, India were to arrive in Zimbabwe on August 25 and play a double round-robin one-day tri-series featuring New Zealand as the third team.

The Kiwis were to play two Tests against the hosts preceding the tri-series which was to begin on August 26. India's first match against New Zealand was scheduled on Aug 28 and the final slated for September nine.

India will then play a three-day warm up tie beginning September 11 followed by two Tests starting on September 17 and 25 respectively.

"We have sent the itinerary to S K Nair (Indian cricket board Secretary) and are waiting for the BCCI's response," Qhubekani Nkala, General Manager of Cricket Operations, Zimbabwe Cricket Union, told PTI from Harare.
