Harare:Pakistan 'A' bowler 18-year-old leg-spinner Mansoor Amjad spun a web around the Zimbabwe 'A' batsmen with a magnificent 6-69 to pack out the home side for a measly 191 on the opening day of the first four-day game at the CFX Cricket Academy here.

Amjad was well supported by Sajid Shah who snared 3-37 to drive home the nail in the Zimbabwean 'A' coffin.

For Zimbabwe 'A', opener batsman Neil Ferreira led the way with an authoritative half century. He made 57 runs from 156 deliveries and his knock was studded with four boundaries.

Test discard Mark Vermeulen, also helped himself to a fine 55 before he was caught and bowled by Amjad. Barring Ferreira and Vermeulen, rest of the Zimbabwe 'A' batters failed to prosper.

Skipper Stuart Carlisle perished cheaply without troubling the scorers.

At stumps Pakistan 'A' reached 73 for three. Opener Zaidi scored an enterprising 41 before he fell much to the disappointment of the visitors.

Brief Scores: Zimbabwe 'A': 191 all out. Pakistan 'A': 74/3.
