Southern Stars arrive on August 2 for Ashes series

London:World Champions Australia would play two npower Ashes Tests and five NatWest series One-day internationals besides a Twenty20 international game on their summer tour of England beginning August.

The visiting Southern Stars will arrive on August 2. They have two warm-up games against England U21 and MCC at Portsmouth and Christs Hospital School in Sussex on August 4 and August 6 respectively.

The first npower Test match will be held from August 9-12 while the second and final npower Ashes Test will be held at New Road, Worcester from August 24-28.

The NatWest ODI series kick off on August 15 at Cheltenham College. The second One-day International will be held at Kidderminster on August 19 while third tie will be staged on August 21 at Stratford-upon-Avon.

The fourth game will be held at Taunton on August 30. The fifth and final One-dayer will come off again at Taunton on September 1.

The visitors would wrap up their trip with a solitary NatWest Twenty20 international tieat Taunton on September 2.
