Dravid, Sehwag and Tendulkar are occupying the third, fifth and 12th spots in batting in Tests and sixth, 13th and 25th positions in the ODIs, as per the latest International Cricket Councils (ICC) world player rankings.
Kumble, easily the best leg spinner around along with Australian great Shane Warne, has been ranked seventh as per the official Test ratings.
It would be interesting to see whether Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh, whose action has come under ICC's scrutiny for the second time in his career, makes the grade.
He is currently ranked 15th and 16th in the two forms of the game.
Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar would announce at the Cricket Club of India here tomorrow the names of the players selected for the World XI squads.
Super Series selectors Gavaskar, Mike Atherton (England), Richard Hadlee (New Zealand), Clive Lloyd, (West Indies), Jonty Rhodes (South Africa) and Aravinda de Silva (Sri Lanka) would choose the players over a teleconference, it has been learnt.
The initial squads of 30 would be reduced by the selectors later to 20 in early July and the final teams of 13 for the Super Test and 14 for the ODIs would be done in August.
