London:Former Australian cricketer Tom Moody would be permitted by English county Worcestershire to visit India to appear in an interview for the Indian coach job towards the end of this month.

Moody is one of the four shortlisted candidates for the India coach job. Greg Chappell along with two Indians-Mohinder Amarnath and Sandeep Patil are also in the race.

A leading news agency-UNI reported that Worcestershire cricket director has been allowed to visit India so that he can appear for the interview.

According to club sources, Moody's contract runs until the end of the 2005 season. Siginificantly, there is a clause in the contract which allows Moody to consider international options.
