No Indian in ICC umpires panel

London:Srinivas Venkatraghvan may have taken a bow from international umpiring but there isn't any Indian to fill in his shoes. No Indian figured in the latest list of ICC panel of umpires announced by the ICC for the current season.

The emirates elite panel of umpires which will be in office till April 1, 2006 comprise Billy Bowden (New Zealand), Steve Bucknor (West Indies), Aleem Dar (Pakistan), Darrell Hair (Australia), Daryl Harper (Australia), Rudi Koertzen (South Africa), and Simon Taufel (Australia).

Veteran David Shepherd will hang up his umpiring coat this season after the conclusion of the England-Australia ODI series.

ICC also announced the list of match referees for the coming season.

The panel: Chris Broad (England), Jeff Crowe (New Zealand), Alan Hurst (Australia), Clive Lloyd (West Indies), Ranjan Madugalle (Sri Lanka), Roshan Mahanama (Sri Lanka) and Mike Procter (South Africa).
