"We have tantatively confirmed. The final dates will be sent by the Pakistan Cricket Board within a week's time," BCCI President Ranbir Singh Mahendra said here today.
As per the proposed itinerary, India would arrive on its second tour of Pakistan in three years on January 2 next year and would finish the bilateral series by February 15.
India would play three Tests and five one-day internationals. They were likely to arrive less than two weeks after England would have completed their first tour of Pakistan since 2000.
The dates and venues were discussed by the officials of the two Boards at the Asian Cricket Council meeting in Kuala Lumpur this week.
The schedule of the Asia Cup, which will be held immediately after the India series, was also discussed during the Kuala Lumpur meeting.
