Lahore:The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shahryar Khan has said that it won't stop the fiery paceman from acting in films provided he seeks permission of the board.

Talking to newspersons here, the PCB chairman said that the board has nothing against Shoaib adding he was free to act in movies.

"I am not against individual freedom. He is flamboyant and if he wants to act he can, but he will have to take permission from the PCB because he is contracted with us,'' he said.

It's worth recalling that the Rawalpindi Express current out of favour with the selectors having being dumped for Pakistan's tour of West Indies, was offered to act in top-notch Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's production Gangster which was subsequently turned down by the fast bowler as he wanted to skirt distractions in his career.
