Jagmohan Dalmiya condoles Sunil Dutt~~s death

Kolkata:Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Dalmiya condoled the death of Union Sports Minister Sunil Dutt describing him as a man of pleasant personality who was keen for the development of all sporting disciplines in the country.

''He was a perfect gentleman with a very pleasant personality,'' Dalmiya said.

The former BCCI chief said that Dutt always exhibited his keenness and enthusiasm for improving all sporting disciplines and taking India sports to world level.

''He always exhibited true sportsman spirit and interacting with him was a pleasure''.

''I had several interactions with him. He was very enthusiastic in ensuring that the Champions Trophy tournament was held in India. He willingly accompanied us when we went to meet Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram on the issue,'' Dalmiya said.

''Such an active Sports Minister was not seen for a long time,'' he added.
