Graeme Smith to stay with Western Province

Johannesburg:South African skipper Graeme Smith would to stay with Western Province for the next domestic season after shooting down a lucrative offer from the Titans.

The stylish left-hander, who is joining Somerset CCC for two month stint in England, will also don the captaincy role of Western Province alongside current skipper and international Ashwell Prince.

Smith was in prolific form in the just concluded Test and One-day series in the West Indies, which the Proteas won convincingly by 2-0 and 5-0 margins resepectiely.
