Kiwi spinner Mathew Hart calls it quits

Wellington:Former New Zealand left-arm spin bowler Matthew Hart announced his retirement from first-class cricket.

The 33-year-old Northern Districts provincial player made his international debut in 1994. His last international appearance was against West Indies in 2002.

Hart featured in 14 Tests and 13 One-day Internationals taking 29 and 13 wickets respectively.

The slow left-arm bowler was best remembered for his superb five-wicket haul (5-22) against West Indies in India in 1994-95.
