Moody to take over as Sri Lanka coach on June 18

Colombo:Sri Lanka's new cricket coach Tom Moody will arrive in Sri Lanka on June 18 to take over the reins of the national team.

Moody, who is stepping down as Cricket Director of Worcestershire to take over from fellow Australian John Dyson, was one of the four shortlisted candidates by BCCI for the post of Indian coach along with stalwarts like Mohinder Amarnath, Desmond Haynes and Greg Chappell.

Greg Chappell was eventually picked as coach of India.
