Talking to newspersons here, the PCB chairman said a scholarship in memory of Fazal Mahmood would be fitting tribute for the legend.
"Fazal Mahmood was the greatest cricketer Pakistan had ever produced. He had always been very positive and willing to give off his best for the country. Surely, we are going to consider different aspects in the next meeting to finalise the measures so that his name could remain live in our generations," he said.
He said the institution of a scholarship in memory of a legend like him would help to keep his memory alive among the present generation.
"The name of the National Cricket Academy could be changed to Fazal Cricket Academy or some scholarship for the budding players could be initiated," he added.
