The 69-year-old Griffith has announced that he will not look for a second term in office because of personal and family considerations.
He said his family commitments would come in the way of him giving full energy and time to the Board in making preparations for the 2007 World Cup to be held in West Indies.
The new president is expected to be elected at the Board's AGM on July 16 in St Maarten.
